Italy is where this idea first donned on me. A place truly worthy of drawing everyone I’ve met. It was after dinner in Padova in 2023 to be exact. I saw a women doing what I now know as ‘la passeggiata’ down Prato della Valle. She strolled along with her hair still styled from her morning blow-out, chunky golden jewelry, and cream tweed suit. Every third person she passed, she knew, and kissed and conversed with. ‘I must sketch her’, I thought.
And now here we are, thousands of characters later in places all over the world.
Everyone I Met in Italy is the nonni, baristi, camerieri, sacerdoti, paesani and Romani (ancient and current) I met this summer. This wasn’t my first time in Italy. It’s somewhere I go when I’ve gotten lost in the things that don’t matter.
When I want to go back to a place that understands what’s really important – family and food.

Expedited shipping is available to any country outside of Canada for $100CAD at checkout. Receive your package within 6-10 business days through FedEx or UPS. This is a great option if you would like your piece delivered sooner than the estimate by an international carrier.
Limited Edition: This is a limited release of 40 hand-embellished prints in addition to a limited edition of 250 regular prints. Each print is hand-numbered and hand-signed by me. It comes embossed for authenticity and is shipped from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Duties and Taxes: The pieces are shipped from Canada. The buyer is responsible for all duties and taxes that may be imposed by the receiving country.
